Joan Carole Tuchek, 74, went home to her new life on July 10, 2010 with her last memory of being surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born April 13, 1936 to Michael and Eleanore Brunarski in Parma, OH.
Joan's mission in life was being a wife and mother and there was no equal. Her son's and later grandchildren were paramount and the pride she had in them and the love she received from them was her reward.
If God crafted a recipe for the perfect wife and mother, he definitely shared it with Joan. And she followed it to the letter. In her loving, caring and devoted spirit, she will continue to be the glue that binds our family together. To say the least, she will be sorely missed.
She was the beloved wife of William L. Tuchek DDS, sister of Wayne (Carol) Brunarski and Richard (Diane-deceased) Brunarski; and sister-in-law Barbara (Paul) Gulley. Joan will be deeply missed by children Jeffrey Michael (Carol) Tuchek, Wm.Scott (Kimberly) Tuchek and Robert Brian (Tiffany) Tuchek; grandchildren Emily, Haley, Michael, Todd and Shelby. She was a cherished aunt and great-aunt.
Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Joan's life will be held Thursday, July 15 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Fr. Tony Sebja will officiate. Family will receive friends at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina on Wednesday, July 14 from 4-8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, an educational scholarship in Joan's name is being established. Contributions may be sent to FirstMerit Bank, 39 Public Square, Medina, OH 44256
