Joann C. Scanlon

Joann C. Scanlon, age 66, passed away on July 22, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1959, to the late John T. and Rosalind B. Scanlon. Joann is survived by her brother John “Jack” (Cynthia) Scanlon, cherished nephews John T. Scanlon II (Cleo) and Michael W. Scanlon, and great-niece Jillian Scanlon.

Joann graduated with her bachelor’s in pharmacy with honors from the Ohio State University and proudly worked as a pharmacist until her retirement in 2016. In her younger years, she enjoyed raising and training horses. Joann will be forever in our hearts.

A graveside service will be held for family and close friends on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00am at Poe Cemetery in Montville Township, Medina, Ohio. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
