John A. Bayne, 88, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025. He was born May 4, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John H. and Mary (Kreps) Bayne.

John worked as a skilled mechanic for Ohio Bell, retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted husband to Lois (Young) Bayne, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and a life filled with love.

John was a proud father to David (Jan) Bayne, Donald Bayne, Sheila Moorman, Patricia Deconcini, and Marian Bayne-Poorman (Richard Poorman, deceased). He was also a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to four. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

The family will welcome guests on Thursday, February 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, February 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Martyrs Church, 3100 Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.
