John Edward Dye, 82, of Valley City, previously a 58 year resident of Parma,  passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.  He was born July 25, 1940, in Cleveland, OH to the late George and Margaret (nee Erchick) Dye. John was co-founder of Cle Corr Packaging in 1987. He was an avid boater in Marblehead, a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, enjoyed traveling, but most of all he was a family man. John never missed an event for his grandchildren and was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife Judith (nee Yesso) Dye of 59 years, sons Chris (Kelly), Jeff (Diane), Brian (Tracy), and Brad (Jennifer), treasured grandchildren Lauren Walcutt (Jason), Zach, Jordan, Brittany, Johnna, Morgan, Haley, Jacob, Lindsey, Alyssa, and Jayce, great grandchildren Jaxon and Braxton, and sister Nancy Hochman (Ben – Dec). Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-6 PM at the Waite and Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.
