John R. Eden, 89, passed away January 9, 2025.

He was born in Cleveland on July 3, 1935 to William and Ethelmae (Askew) Eden.

Surviving are his daughters, Beth (Doug) Raley, Karen (James) Helgreen, and Laura (Scott) Profitt; grandchildren, Brad, Lucas (Katie), Morgan, Max, Marlee, and Bryce.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 57 years, Frances (Zugovitz); his parents and his siblings.

John retired as a Captain from University Heights Fire Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Private committal services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
