John J. Markuszewski, age 94, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. He was born in Poland to the late Joseph and Jadwiga Markuszewski on April 20, 1930. John was retired from MTD as an assembler, in his younger years he enjoyed raising and racing pigeons. As time went on he became an avid gardener and enjoyed caring for his cats.

John was married to Noreen (Muetzel) Markuszewski for 61 years and together they raised their family of four. John will be missed by his surviving children, Terri (Bob) Szustakowski, Kathleen (Chuck) Peck, and Richard Markuszewski; his grandchildren, Lisa, Denise, Devin, David, Michael, Krystal, Andrea, Chelsea and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Danny, Brendyn, Logan, Brooklyn, Kaleb, and Zeke; his great great grandchild, Raelynn; his siblings, Helen, Jeannette, and Theresa. He is preceded in death by his wife, Noreen; son, John D.; sisters, Sabina and Sandra. Per John's wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
