John V. Schur, Jr., age 75, passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John, Sr. and Josephine. John is survived by his beloved sons Nicholas (Stacy), Joseph, Anthony, and Dominic (Herlynne); cherished treasured sibling Carol Clark (Clifford); nieces and nephews Christopher, Jennifer, Kevin, and Johnny.

John is preceded in death by his brother Frank Schur.

John had many hobbies and proudly worked in electronics and technical engineering. He greatly enjoyed snow and water skiing, woodworking, playing the fiddle, contra and swing dance. John also loved to travel, bicycling, and even operated ham radio. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4-8pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church at 10 am; please meet at the church. A burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
