Joseph C. Thompson, age 96, passed away April 24, 2020.  He was born in Wayne Co., West Virginia on May 24, 1923 to the late John and Ora Thompson.  Joseph was a God-fearing man who had a deep faith in the Lord.  He was a lover of the land who enjoyed farming and being in the presence of nature.  He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked for Landmark as a poultry specialist.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Joseph is survived by his loving daughter Donette (Tom) Donnelly.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lanelle.

Funeral Services for Joseph were private with burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
