Judith Ann Boudreau (nee Cederquist), age 84, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. Born on September 21, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, Judy was the daughter of the late Lester Sven Hagman and Francis Jane (Foss) Cederquist.
Judy’s memory will be cherished by her daughters, Sandy Papp and Jen (Phil) Weisbrod; her grandchildren, Felicia and Ben (Hannah) Weisbrod, and Kyle (Amanda) and Taylor Papp; and her great-grandchildren, Katheryn and CJ. She also leaves behind her sister, Barb (Bob) Messler, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Lee Boudreau, with whom she shared 47 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2007.
Judy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to vegetables and flowers, and she had a special fondness for sweets. She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed playing cards and games, especially Bridge and Pinochle, which always lifted her spirits. An animal lover at heart, Judy also enjoyed genealogy and learning about family history. She was active for many years as a Girl Scout troop leader and served as a Kids Hope mentor. Her faith and love for Jesus were the cornerstones of her life.
The family will welcome guests from 9:30 to 11:00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Road, Strongsville, Ohio, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Judy's name to Guiding Eyes for the Blind or Camp Carl.
