June "Penney" Marie Kason, age 76, of Lodi, Ohio, passed away on January 12, 2024. She was born to the late Donald and Georgia (Swailes) Bernow on June 14, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. Penney enjoyed spending time with her family, including her dogs and camping, diving and crocheting.

Penney is survived by her husband of 56 years, Andrew C. Kason Jr.; her children, Andrew Kason III (Cynthia), and Kristin Harr; grandchildren, Bryan Noletti (Mei), Geoffrey Kason, Deen Harr (Rachel), and Brittany Harr; great-grandchildren, Liam Noletti, Donatello Harr, Leonardo Harr, and Giselle Harr; and her sister, Donna Gammalo. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Matt Bernow.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with prayer service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio at a later date.
