Karen Jean "Kep" Babb (nee Kepes), age 77, died December 14, 2025.

Karen was born April 8th, 1948 in Cleveland to Carol and William Kepes. She graduated from Valley Forge High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Kent State, where she met Gregory Babb to whom she was married for 55 years.

After retiring from a career in business training development, Karen immersed herself in creative pursuits, including music, fiber arts, and gardening. A member of the Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild, she delighted friends and family with lovingly crafted knitted garments. She was an accomplished harper and member of the Scottish Harp Society of America, who taught and performed both locally and internationally, sharing her love of music with many.

She is survived by her husband Greg; her sons Nathan Babb and Brian Babb; and her grandchildren Ian Babb, Adalyn Babb, and Ellis Babb.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
