Karen Sue Laws, 76, of Medina, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, November 3, 2025. Karen was born on December 31, 1948, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Harold and Lydia (Swisshelm) Baker.

Karen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an excellent baker. Karen also enjoyed quilting and sewing and making beautiful dolls from fabric. She was a devoted caregiver to her parents when they were living in Florida. Anyone who knew Karen knows she was a cat lover and had many feline friends over the years. Karen's last job was working for Mercury Insurance where she was an insurance adjuster.

She is survived by her son, Sean Lombardo; grandchildren, Ashlyn Sunday and Nicholas Lombardo; brother, David (Karen) Baker; and her niece, Erin Hinojosa.
