Karen Sue Sprunger, age 75 of Medina, passed away August 23, 2025.  She was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on February 26, 1950, to the late Stanely Gideon and Margaret Geraldine (Norman) Sprunger.

Karen was employed as a cook at Samaritan Care Center for many years.  She was talented at sewing, crafting and macrame. Karen was an avid reader and enjoyed astrology.

Karen is survived by her brother Lester Sprunger; her sister Brenda Molnar; her nieces and nephews Tamara Howard (Tim), Richard Sprunger (Paula), Daniel Sprunger (Donna), Deanne Price (Bernie), Dawn Kiel (Barry), Vicki Hatch, Laura Molnar, Christine Kesler (Wayne) and Timothy Molnar (Rikki); numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of collected friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard Sprunger; sister-in-law Judy Sprunger; and her niece Denise Giezeman.

A Celebration of her Life will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Gloria Glens Pavillion on Playland Parkway in Chippewa Lake.
