Karen Marie Strange, age 79, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on March 20, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 12, 1946, in East Cleveland, Ohio. Karen worked for Eaton Corp for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends; she could never say no to a get together. Karen was a devout and faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Medina, Ohio and Messiah Lutheran Church in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where she also taught Sunday School.

Karen is survived by her children, Lance Strange and Dawn Ormsby (Tom); her grandchildren, Carissa Larson (Nick) and Hannah Strange; her great grandchildren, Ryker and Maverick Larson; and her siblings, Andrew Benko (Denice), Elizabeth Pritchard (Rick), and Steve Benko-Brown (James). She was preceded by her mother, Florence Marian (nee Eckart) Haendiges, and her siblings, James Benko and Barbara Clark.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 400 N. Broadway St., Medina, OH 44256, immediately followed by the funeral service at the church at 11:30.
