Vincent

Karen Marie Vincent, 80, of Medina, passed away peacefully at her home with Jim at her side. Karen was born on July 26, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Verwey) Vincent.
Karen grew up in the area and graduated from St. Vincent High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron. Karen worked for the Akron Beacon Journal in the marketing / sales department. She also lived in Toronto, Canada for a short period of time as well. Karen was an accomplished photographer. She and her life partner, Jim, enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and Mexico and visiting both the Akron Art Museum and the Cleveland Art Museum. Karen's last job was working with the Akron Chapter – Red Cross.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond L. Vincent, Jr.
She is survived by her life partner, Jim Howard; siblings, Timothy (Liz) Vincent, Rhita Burke (Franscico) Serrano, Sally (Terry) Smedley, and Laura (Philip) Dotts; 8 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2-4 pm at the Waite Funeral Home: 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH 44256.
