Katherine "Kati" (Cady) Schroeder: After a long battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's, Katherine went home to heaven to spend eternity walking in the gardens with the Lord.

Born in Minot, North Dakota on May 3 ^rd , 1958, to parents Kenneth and Suzanne Cady. Kati had two older brothers, Roger (Kathy) and Mark (Becky), and one younger sister, Karen (Frank).

Her true passion was living life with her husband Kevin, who she married in 1977, raising three wonderful children, Matthew (Tyler), Jeremy and Karah (CJ) and holding her three beautiful grandchildren, Abbygail, Eli and Elsie.

Kati's guiding light was her love of the Lord and her light lit up any room she entered. She was active in her church, taught children's bible study, cared for the elderly, and shared her faith with anyone who was lucky enough to meet her.

She had a beautiful artistic vision and childlike spirit. She loved to draw, paint, form pottery, and spend hours in her flower gardens tending to God's beautiful creation. Her talent and creativity led her to start Katidid Designs, a small business she built and grew for decades. Her custom framing, designs, and cross stitch patterns were sold to happy customers across the country. She was loved and treasured by all and will be truly missed. We will see you again in Heaven.

Family will welcome friends on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 10 to 12pm at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with the service at noon. Interment will follow at Ridge Cemetery in Hinckley, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 23215 Commerce Park, STE 300, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.
