Kathleen M. (nee Bene) Engel, 58 of Hinckley entered in to our Lord's arms on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born on June 5, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio. Kathy was her husband's favorite fishing buddy; spending her free time on their boat on Lake Erie and an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Kevin of 34 years; loving children Sarah (Mark) Conway and Kevin Engel; mother Verne Bene; brother William (Linda) Bene; sister Karen (Peter) Godenschwager; and many cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her many treasured friends and her extended family, whom she deeply touched by opening her arms and home too. Kathy was preceded in death by her father William Bene. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 2 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd. Brunswick 44212. Services will take place on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, 11680 Royalton Rd., North Royalton 44133. Interment will follow at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
