Kathleen C.
Hoy Manning
February 16, 1949 – July 25, 2024
Kathleen C. Hoy Manning, age 75, passed away on July 25, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1949, to the late Axel and Mary Hoy. She is survived by her beloved children Carolyn Hydash, Kathy Foster, John (Alicia) Jordan, and honorary son Steve Hydash; dear grandchildren Tiffani, Olivia, Quintez, John, and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly cherished; treasured siblings Chuck, Marilyn "Cookie", Butch, Kenny, and Cliff (Patty).
Kathleen is preceded in death by her siblings Joy, Jimmy, and Donny.
Kathleen was known for her love of shopping, gardening, and bird watching. She especially cherished her beloved cats. Kathleen will be dearly missed by all.
Kathleen fought a very long and hard two-year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She fought from her original diagnosis until her last breath with everything that she physically and mentally could. Throughout this daunting process, Kathleen never let her smile fade, her strength lessen, or her love decrease. She entered each and every day with a beautiful smile and mind that only the purest of humans receive.
Kathleen truly loved everything she came into contact with. She made every stranger a friend, and every friend family. She expressed a love to everyone that is so rare to receive, even throughout her battle. Kathleen was an extremely strong, brave, and resilient woman. As she expressed in her last words, which were "I love you all forever", she truly always thought about others and was the most selfless person. She was a natural-born helper, lover, and kind-hearted woman.
After her initial diagnosis, Kathleen expressed that her path of life was "all in God's hands". After a painful two years full of ups and downs, God decided that it was Kathleen's time to ascend to Heaven and meet Him in the form of an angel. Kathleen looks down on everyone that she loved and everyone that loved her from this day on and for the rest of our days with a smile on her beautiful face. Kathleen had so much pride in the people she loved and will continue that pride and unconditional love until we meet her again one day in the future.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256.
