Kathleen Marie Madis, age 75, peacefully passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born May 31, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio to Lawrence Earl and Kathleen Mae (nee Shoemaker) Wilson. As a youth, Kathy enjoyed belonging to the 4-H club and loved horses. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed reading. Kathy will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Kathy's life is her beloved husband of 54 years, Garry D. Madis; her loving children, Garry J. (Kim) Madis, Shawn D. (Catherine) Madis and Marissa A. Madis; her cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Carson Madis and step-grandchild, Shannon Kelly; her siblings, Joe (Patti Koch) Wilson, Larry (Arlene Ryan) Wilson, Mark (Lisa) Wilson, John (Grace) Wilson, Theresa (Robby) Andrews, Bernadette (Piotr) Wesolowski, Roseanne (Terry) Condrich and sister-in-law, Helen Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Peggy Wilson, Mary Jo Hanna and Ray Wilson.

Family will welcome visitors from 10 – 11AM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd in Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Kathy's honor to NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness, 4301 Wilson Blvd., Arlington County, Virginia.
