Kay Beavers, 92, of Medina, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at her residence with her family by her side. Kay was born on August 18, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Elta (McCrabb) Patterson.

Kay worked as a Register Nurse and retired from Medina Hospital in 1996. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and gardening. She and her late husband, Don, loved to take trips, especially driving to South Carolina. She was an avid reader and loved taking long walks around Hinckley Lake. Kay was a member of Granger UMC.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Beavers, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2025; and her sister, Aileen Gunnis.

She is survived by her son, Alex (Anita) Beavers, and grandson, Ryan Beavers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 11 am – 1 pm at Waite Funeral Home – Medina. A Celebration of Kay's life will be held at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
