Ken Cleveland, age 87, Hinckley, beloved husband of Patricia Ann, passed away December 16, 2019.  Ken was born to the late Chauncey and Mamie (nee Geiger) Cleveland.

Ken is survived by son Ken, Jr., stepchildren David and Deanna Parsons, brothers Larry and Pete (deceased). He started Ken Cleveland Builders in 1960 and was recognized as one of the top builders in the country.

In addition to building more than 300 homes annually in Northeast Ohio in the 1970s, Ken branched out into Florida and built over 800 condominiums there as well.  A philanthropist, Ken established The Ken Cleveland Foundation in an effort to give back to and support the community which helped Ken and his business succeed.  In 2013, Ken and Patty, through The Ken Cleveland Foundation, graciously donated $4 million dollars to help build the 24,000 square foot Cleveland Clinic emergency department in Brunswick which bears Ken's name on the exterior of the building.

Ken always said … "When you leave this world, the only thing we take with us is what we leave behind."  Ken leaves a wonderful giving legacy behind for many years to come.

Visitation is Saturday, December 21, from 10am to 1pm at Waite & Son Funeral Homes in Medina with a Memorial Celebration at 1pm, also at Waite.  Interment will be private.
