Kenneth Eugene "KC" Coleman, age 67, passed away on January 22, 2022, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on October 27, 1954, in Medina, Ohio to parents Richard C. and Viola M. (Jackson) Coleman. In his early years, KC was proud to have served in the Navy, aboard the USS Coral Seas, during the Vietnam War. KC was a kind and considerate man, who was always happy to be of help to anyone he knew. He lived most of his life in Medina, where he was well known in his role as a coach for the Medina Mustangs peewee football team, as well as a beloved announcer for the games. KC was a huge supporter of Medina Bees Athletics program, especially when it came to his enthusiasm for the high school basketball team. He spent a lifetime connecting and building relationships through his landscaping business.  When KC was younger, he was known for his wonderful reenactments of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.

KC is survived by his children, Jeremy, Kenneth L., Tracy, Jason, Russell, and Faith; stepchildren, Norma Jean, and Sarah; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Viola; siblings, Tyrone, Timmy, Maurice, Rachel, Kathy, and Diane; along with a lifetime of collected friends.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Keith, and his father, Richard C. Coleman.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11:30 am on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A funeral service will be held following the visitation, beginning at 11:30 am at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio with military honors.
