Kevin C. Dubber

Kevin C. Dubber, age 75, of Valley City, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family on May 14, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Carl G. Dubber and Elizabeth M. (nee Shackelton) Dubber.

Kevin worked for AT&T as an engineer. He proudly served as a union steward for CWA Local 4340, advocating for and supporting his fellow union members throughout the years. He was known for his love of cooking and trying new recipes. He was an avid reader and loved history and biographical books. Kevin was part of the "Dragon Tribe", a gaming group that has been playing together for decades.

His favorite games were Diplomacy and Dungeons and Dragons. Kevin started an annual day of gaming as a tribute to his brother Neal. This event will reach its 25th milestone this year. He loved all animals, especially his family dogs. He loved to travel, his favorite trip was to New Orleans and stopping at Civil War sites on the way.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 52 years M. Christine Dubber; Children Jennifer Dubber (Ray Beall), Kevin Dubber, Eric Dubber (Danielle) and Wendy Fuchs; Grandchildren Andrew, Allison and Megan Dubber, Tyler Hambel, Julia and Paulina Fuchs; many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Carl and Neal.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Memorial Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Kevin will be interred during a private ceremony. Please join the family for a small meal after the service.
