Kimberly Susan
Wilding
September 3, 1967 – May 10, 2025
Kimberly Susan Wilding, age 57, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1967, in Parma, Ohio, to the late Matthew J. Wildling and Karen A. Poltrone (Lindway).
Kimberly worked in health information management as an inpatient coding advisor and auditor for R1 RCM. She was passionate about her work and respected by her colleagues.
A devoted animal lover, Kimberly had a special fondness for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, rescuing four over the years. She enjoyed traveling - especially cruising - and had a love for visiting casinos. A lifelong fan of science fiction, she found joy and inspiration in the imaginative worlds of the genre. She was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice, which brought joy to those around her.
Kimberly had a generous and compassionate spirit, freely giving her time in support of American veterans through local charities. She was a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend—kindhearted and selfless, always putting others before herself. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sisters, Victoria (George) Way and Rebecca (Grant) Lorman; her niece, Bailey Weiss; her uncle, Russ (Jean) Lindway; aunts, Diane (Larry) Krall and Marilyn Moon; uncle, Ronald Elsner; cousins, David (Patty) Krall and Jason Krall (Heather Maki); stepfather, Dennis Poltrone; as well as many dear friends and colleagues.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew J. Wildling and Karen A. Poltrone.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A Celebration of Kimberly's Life will follow at 7:00 p.m.
