Lawrence "Larry" S. Maat, age 73 of Medina, Ohio passed away at home on Monday, December 23, 2024, after a short battle with Cancer. Larry was born on September 13, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Herman B. and Ramona M. (Cuozzo) Maat.

Larry was a self-employed concrete contractor who retired in 2013, he loved fishing, both on his boat on Lake Erie as well as the family trips to the Florida Keys. Larry was known lovingly for two things, he always had an immaculate car and he never had a hair out of place!  He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lorraine "Rainey"  (McDonald) Maat; his two sons, Jeff (Tiffany) Maat and Justin Maat; his grandchildren, Jake and Caroline; his favorite spaniel, Lucy;  brother, Robert Maat; along with numerous extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ramona, and his sister, Joann Maat.

In accordance with Larry's wishes, there will be no public arrangements.
