Leona Domino, age 91, of Granger Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born in Batavia, Iowa, on August 20, 1933, to William G. and Naomi (nee Curtis) Hutton. Leona's career spanned over 30 years as an RN/BSN nurse at Veteran's Hospitals. She was a longtime member of the Granger United Methodist Church. Leona loved showing dogs with her husband Chester and daughters. Leona held the Genetic Chair for the Papillon Club of America for 10+ years. She enjoyed sewing, grooming, and working outdoors. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Leona is survived by her loving children, Linda Cross, Laura (Don) Temperato and William (Marie) Domino; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsay) Cross, Curtis (Jennifer) Cross, Nicholas Cross, John Temperato, James (Wade) McLemore, Patrick (Natalie) McLemore, Chester Domino and Joseph (Marie) Domino; her precious great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Allyssa, Mikayla, and Caden Cross, Alana and Michael Domino, Myles and Mila McLemore; her niece, Diana Cook and nephew, Joseph Domino; and her sister, Claudia Van de Ven.

Leona is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester in 2014; her daughter, Claudia McLemore; her grandson, James Domino; and her brother, Rex Hutton.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2768 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH. Interment will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville at a later date.
