Livestream Link for the mass of Lina Sugar

Lina Sugar, age 82, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was born September 23, 1942, to Josip and Ivana (nee Francula) Kosara in Croatia. Lina was married to her beloved husband of 61 years, Ivan. She worked as a seamstress for General Motors at the Fisher Body plant in Euclid for 17 years. Other than sewing, she also loved cooking and gardening and was a long-time member of the Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Lina's life is her beloved, Ivan; her loving children, Walter (Kim) Sugar and Daniel Sugar; her cherished grandchildren, Andrea and Jacob (Amber – Fiancê); her adorable great grandchildren, Savannah and Brayden; and many extended family and friends. Lina is preceded in death by her sister, Milka Vrh.

The family will welcome visitors from 5 to 8pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd. in Brunswick. There will also be a Livestream Link for the mass available for those unable to attend. This will be available at the top of the obituary page on the day of the mass. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery following the mass.
