Linda M. Cooksey, age 45, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on August 1, 2024. She was born to David John and Magdeline "Maggie" Rose (Ruffing) Roth on October 21, 1978, in Norwalk, Ohio. Linda was an occupational therapist and helped people of all ages during her career.

She enjoyed volleyball, watching her children play lacrosse, hiking, nature, watching fireworks, refurbishing old furniture and generally never stopped trying to learn something new.  Some of her accomplishments were graduating valedictorian of her high school class, graduating Magna Cum Laude in college, receiving her Master's Degree and, more recently, received her 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo karate.

Linda is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 19 years, Andrew "Andy" Cooksey; her cherished children, Alec and Maura Cooksey; dear siblings, Lisa Camp (Matthew), John Roth (Jody), and Martin Roth (Jacqueline); her mother, Maggie Roth; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her father, David John Roth.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City, OH 44280. Interment will be at St. Martin of Tours Church Cemetery.
