Lisa M. Helton, age 54, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 3, 2024, in Medina, Ohio. Lisa was born on October 10, 1969, in Lorain, Ohio to parents Marty Martinez and Patricia A. (Hall) Gornek. She was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan supporting the teams through thick and thin, especially the Browns. She enjoyed numerous hobbies including crocheting blankets for her family and attending all of her grandchildren's events. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She adored her family and made sure that they always knew that they came first in her life. She was most important to her family, and they will use her examples of love, kindness, patience, strength, and humor throughout their lives.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Terry T. Helton; sons, Patrick (Stephanie) Martinez and Scott (Lindsay) Helton; grandchildren, Harper, Hattie, and Hayes Martinez; her grand-dog, Ellie; her siblings, Anita Martinez, Angie Martinez, Roger Martinez, and Cassandra Moretto; numerous nieces and nephews and many collected friends.

The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A time of sharing to celebrate Lisa's Life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A burial will be held at Litchfield Cemetery immediately following the celebration.
