Lloyd E. Chirdon, age 92, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born December 3, 1933, in Ebensburg, PA to Clarence and Marie (nee Hufford) Chirdon. He served his country in the US Army and went on to be employed by General Motors as an administrator for 30 years. Lloyd was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Colette Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed being a ‘Snowbird’ to Florida for 30 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Lloyd leaves behind his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary (nee Schall); his loving children, Cheryl (Matthew) Supron, Janine (Dan) Murray, and Katherine (Joseph) Treska; his adoring grandchildren, Allison (James) Friel, Lauren (Brad) Horling, Ashley Murray, Daniel (Hiba) Murray, Chloe Treska, Waseem and Kareem Murad; one great-grandchild, Sloane Friel; and many extended family and friends.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, Donald, Clarence, and sister, Lee Malloy.

Family will hold private services and Lloyd will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
