Lois Mae Anderson, age 98, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026. Born in 1928 in Brimfield, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Willis E. and Mildred A. (Mendenhall) Kingdon.

Lois dedicated her life to nurturing those she loved, always placing family at the heart of her world. As a mother and grandmother, she was an ever-present fixture in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Whether it was a sporting event, a school activity, or a small personal milestone, Lois was there, offering quiet encouragement and support.

She was a devoted member of the Medina United Church of Christ Congregational for more than 50 years. She lived her beliefs through consistent acts of kindness and service, finding her greatest joy in giving and prioritizing the needs of others.

Lois enjoyed her work and colleagues at Medina Senior High School, where she served many years supporting the faculty and counselors.

Attending family activities, playing bridge with friends, gardening in her yard, and cooking for others provided great pleasure for Lois.

She is survived by her children Brad (Rickie), Steve (Jane), Dave (Alison) and Linda (Dave) Warner; grandchildren Todd (Alexis), Kaylee (Kris), Jennie (Jacob), Carrie (Luke), Peter (Quinn), Carter, Mary, Andi (Jesse), Hannah (Warren); and seven great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Clarence "Andy" Anderson; her parents; her sister, Jo Ann Hudson; and her brother, Willis "Bud" Kingdon.

Private services will be held to honor Lois's life. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
