Lois Marlene Sailer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Plum Creek Assisted Living. Lois was born in Valley City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dale and Edna (Blume) Study.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1954 Valedictorian graduate of Brunswick High School. Lois retired from Ohio Edison in 1994. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing and bowling. She also loved spending time at the beach. She and her late companion 'Cope', where snowbirds, and spent winters in Florida. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2224
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Claude 'Cope' Copeland; siblings, Berand, Donald, Wayne and Dale Study, Jr., and Phyllis Bolan; and son-in-law, Andy German.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Joe) Donnelly, Luann German, and Lisa Snook; granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Lauren Donalson) Snook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Plum Creek Assisted Living, especially Anna, her nurse, and Traditions Hospice for their compassion and care.
