**Obituary for Lorene Foster**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorene Foster, a beloved teacher and cherished mom, who left us on January 25, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on March 31, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, Lorene dedicated her life to education, teaching 2nd grade to countless students during her time with Parma City Schools and leaving an indelible mark on the community.

Lorene was a proud mom to her daughter, Lynn Rak (Stephan II), and a doting grandmother to her grandchild, Justin Rak. She was known for her love of baking for her family, traveling and going to the beach, collecting snowmen, gardening, doing crafts, singing in the Brunswick Community Choir, and inspiring those around her to reach their full potential.

Lorene was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stuart "Roger" Foster, and parents Mitchell & Vera (nee Schwartz) Kiss.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at Waite Funeral Home in Brunswick, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212 on Friday,  January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a public viewing scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Lorene will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick following the service.
