Ludmilla ("Milly") Sapundzic, age 96, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2024. She was born August 28, 1927, in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, to the late John and Terezija Horzen. Milly was an avid reader, as well as an excellent cook, baker, and seamstress.

She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Thomas; grandchildren, Greg (Kara) Thomas and Shayna (Lenny) Samosky; four great-grandchildren, Easton and Josey Thomas and Emmalin and Marin Samosky; nephew, Gunther; and niece, Sylvia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Budimir; and her sister, Stephanie Guggenburger.

The family will welcome guests from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Milly will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
