Lyle E. Pelot, age 103, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at his residence in Orlando, Florida. Lyle was born March 12, 1922, in Medina, Ohio to George and Bernice Pelot and was the youngest of four children. He proudly served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army Air Force during World War II. Lyle had a successful career in Accounting and Finance and retired from BF Goodrich. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, golf and spending time outdoors. Lyle and his wife Patricia (deceased) raised their family of four children in Northeast Ohio before settling down in Central Florida upon Lyle's retirement.

Lyle had a great sense of humor and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey, Thomas (Mary Catherine), Mary Claire Sheftel (Robert), and John (Karen), nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by his sons - Eric & Brian, and his brothers - Cleon, Donald & Carrol.

A graveside memorial service and interment will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Granger Fairview Cemetery, 1627 Wilbur Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. A reception will follow at 12:00 p.m. for family and friends at Remsen Christian Church, 1500 Remsen Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
