Margaret LaForge, 87, of Medina, Ohio passed away September 1, 2024. Margaret was the beloved mother of Linda Weber (Eric) of Corunna, Michigan, Karen Hammond (Bernard) of Newark, Ohio, Kevin Bricker (Debbie) of Medina, Ohio, Ross Bricker (Veena) of Denver Colorado, and Teryl Jones (Michael) of Huntington, West Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren who will deeply miss their "gammy"….Keegan Cisowski, Clay, Corey, and Anhalese Bricker, Anjali and Chethan Bricker, Aaron and Crystal Weber, Michael and Kyle Hnatiuk. Great grandchildren: Michael and David Hnatiuk, Aasiyah Weber, Hayden and Eleanor Hnatiuk.
Margaret was born October 1, 1936, to the late Ralph Mathias and Margaret Agnes (nee Blissel) Milberger in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and attended Nursing School at New Kensington General Hospital. Even after retiring from her nursing career, Margaret had a strong passion to help others and would often work with the elderly to assist with complicated paperwork needed to obtain medications and prescriptions. Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was closest to her five kids who adored being around her and taking care of her in her last days. Her children will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 6, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E Washington St., Medina, OH 44256. A private family burial will be held at St. Francis Church Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Margaret's memory to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
