Maricela Flores-Fern, age 39, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2025.

Maricela was born on January 16, 1986, to the late Susanna Rodriguez. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Fern, whom she married in 2009. She was also the cherished daughter-in-law of Marylou Fern and the late Carl Fern Jr.; sister-in-law of Carl Fern III; niece of the late James Gorey and Jan Gorey; and a loving aunt to Hope, Daniel, and Annabelle Sawyer, whom she loved immeasurably.

Maricela leaves behind siblings, cousins, and many dear friends. Maricela, along with her sisters, Kelly Sawyer and Katrina Sherba, formed the "three musketeers," who lovingly journeyed through this life together.

Maricela greatly enjoyed the beach, shopping, vacationing, seeing Pitbull in concert, scary movies, the music of Selena, and sharing her love and knowledge of her Mexican culture and cuisine. She was a lifelong dog lover, especially devoted to her two fur babies, Remi and Pumpkin.

Family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Maricela from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio.
