Marie F. Dugan, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022, in Strongsville, Ohio. She was born an only child in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Joe and Julia (nee Sweeney) Murray. Marie was the loving mother of four children: Daniel, Timothy, Patrick, and Shawn. She helped relocate her family to Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Singapore, and Ohio, and she traveled to over 14 countries. She loved animals, especially cats. After raising her sons, she went back to work at Ford and Allstate. When she retired, she volunteered at the United Way. She is survived by her sons, Timothy, and Shawn. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday, January 28, 2022, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marie's memory to St. Ambrose Church or Save the Children online. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City, Ohio.
