Mark Louis Codding, 70 years old, of Medina, Ohio passed away on November 14, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born on August 6,1955 in Medina, Ohio to Leland and Catherine A. (Berger) Codding.  Mark was a United States Navy veteran, serving on the submarine USS Narwhal (SSN-671).  He was very active with the group of Navy veterans that also served on the Narwal and was a member of the Medina American Legion. Mark retired from Wade Park VA Hospital after 41 years, specializing in HVAC technology and retired as a Lieutenant at the Medina Fire Department after 24 years of service.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Susan Elaine (Bilinovich) Codding; son Parker Codding; father, Leland; siblings Steve Codding (Cheryl Howie), Larry (Kim) Codding, Suzi (Dennis) Boggs; and many cherished nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his mother Cathy and sister-in-law, Lisa Codding.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 24,2025 at 12 pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E Washington St., Medina, OH 44256.  He will be laid to rest with military honors on Monday, November 24,2025 at 1:45 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
