Mark Francis Sullivan, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and Olga Sullivan.
He is survived by his beloved children Mark, Mary, Jennifer, and Trang; stepchildren Carol, Bill, Rob, and the late Ray; eleven grandchildren—Mark, Abbigail, Emily, Jacob, Sam, Leigh, Maria, Farrah, Joseph, Darlene, and Justin—and numerous great-grandchildren. A proud United States Army Veteran, Mark served two tours in Vietnam, where he was wounded in action. After his military service, he began a long and distinguished career as a Federal Postal Inspector, serving over 30 years with integrity and dedication.
In retirement, Mark enjoyed time with his church family, tending to his plants, and attending veterans' gatherings. He loved playing Rummi 500 with friends and family, and his humor and competitiveness made every game memorable. A passionate photographer, he captured countless family moments with his 35mm camera and will always be remembered as the family archivist and historian.
Family and friends will deeply miss Mark's kindness, strength, and steady presence.
