Martin 'Marty' F. Steinkamp, 83, of Medina, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Marty was born on April 12, 1942, in Berea, Ohio the son of the late Martin and Agnes (Kirsch) Steinkamp. He worked for General Electric as a technician for over 30 years,

Marty enjoyed the water, especially boating. He also loved his dogs, going to the Casino, and listening to all different types of music. He was a "Jack of all trades" and could fix practically anything. He was proud to be a United States Army veteran. Marty was a true man of God and a had a strong belief in his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his daughters, Trisha L. (Shawn) McLaughlin and Tracy L. Gruttadauria; brothers, Robert and William Steinkamp; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Sue) Sklarz; and 1 niece and 2 nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Steinkamp.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4-7 pm at Waite Funeral Home - Medina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Marty's memory be made to: Medina Township Life Support Team, 132 N. Elmwood Ave., Medina, OH 44256 or Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
