Obituary

Marvin H. Hall, age 85, of Medina, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. He was born August 3, 1927 in Akron, OH to the late Carl M. and Opha (Simpson) Hall. Marvin graduated from Medina High School. He was employed at Hausted Mfg. for approximately 25 years, he also worked for the State of Ohio, Highway Division for one year, and the Medina School System for 10 years. Marvin was a member of the American Legion Post #202. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, stationed at Pearl Harbor.
Marvin married Roberta (Milgate) Hall. They had three children, Richard, Debra and Dennis. They parted after nearly 25 years.
He was the beloved husband of Renita C. (nee Barton) (Norton) Hall, to whom he was married 33 years; loving father of Debra (Jim) Anderson and Dennis Hall; devoted grandfather of Bradford, Vanessa, Alisa and Austin Anderson, and Casey Hall; dear brother of Ted Hall and Phyliss Hoyt. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Richard Hall; siblings Robert, Donald, Delmar and Charles Hall and Viola Puett. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 5, 12:00 Noon, at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Chester Hitchcock will officiate. Military burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Medina Community Service Center, 655 N. Broadway St. Medina, OH 44256, where Marvin volunteered many years, helping others.
