Mary Elizabeth Lamm

Mary Elizabeth Lamm (Mars), born in April 1942, in Akron, Ohio, to Charles and Katherine Mars. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Mary worked at Spirol International from 1977 until her retirement in 2008.

She is survived by her children Rob (Lisa), Joe (Tracy), and Lura (Jimmy), as well as her grandchildren, Kristin (Eric), Jessica (Bob), Sarah, Jennifer (Tony), Jeff, and James (Dawn). Mary was also blessed with several great-grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished every day.

Mary will always be remembered for her adventurous spirit, spontaneous drives with her children, beanie baby hunts with her grandchildren, and the Easter candy-making tradition she created with her family. Her family intends to honor and continue the cherished traditions for generations to come. Mary’s kindness and love touched the lives of everyone she knew. Her life will live on through her family and the memories they shared.

A Celebration of Life, including light refreshments and a time of sharing, will be held on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Waite Funeral Home 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. Inurnment Tallmadge Cemetery.
