Mary Jane "Janie" Marshall, age 90, passed away on June 27, 2025 surrounded by family.

Janie was born in Piqua, Ohio to Frank & Clara Marshall.  She attended school at the University of Dayton, then went on to teach 3rd grade in the Catholic school system.   During college Janie met Terrance Maloney and they were married in 1958   After college Janie's family was her primary focus, she also enjoyed golf, tennis, traveling around the world, and spending time with Nuel, her dog.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Clara Marshall; and her husband of 23 years, Terrance Maloney, who passed away July 25, 2002.

Janie is survived by her children T.J. Maloney, Julie Maloney, Patrick Maloney, and Nancy Maloney Byington; grandchildren Autumn, Mea, Terrence, and Paula; great-grandchildren Dominic, Sean, Elizabeth, Emery, Aubrie, Ana, and Jayla.

Private family services will be held at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home 646 W. High St., Piqua OH 45356 with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio.
