Mary M. “Margaret” Sivado, age 98, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, in Parma, Ohio. Born on March 12, 1928, in Lowber, Pennsylvania, Mary was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Mocher) August.

Margaret devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love, good food, and lasting memories. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and especially cherished time spent with those she loved. Family gatherings, sharing meals, and preparing her favorite Hungarian dishes brought her great happiness. An adventurous spirit, Margaret enjoyed traveling throughout nearly all of the United States, often visiting casinos along the way. She also loved dining out and watching westerns.

She is survived by her loving children, Nicholas (Linda) Sivado and Susan (Les) Davis; her cherished granddaughter, Nicole (Jared) Horwitz; and her sister, Vilma Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicholas L. Sivado; her cherished granddaughter, Marissa Sivado; and five siblings.

The family will welcome guests from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 11:30 am. Private inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
