Mary M. Summers, 83, of Medina, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Mary was born on October 23, 1941, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James and Florence Graham.

She was a teacher and director at Hobbitts Preschool in Richfield. Working with children was one of her greatest loves and she had a great talent for that. Mary enjoyed reading, sailing (especially at Pymatuming Lake in Pennsylvania), and doing cross stitching. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Richfield.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Graham and her sister, Dorothy Perrin.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Summers, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage; her children, Cynthia (Matthew) Hooper and G. Brian (Jennifer) Summers; and grandchildren, Lindsay Hooper and Grace Summers.

The family will receive friends at Waite Funeral Home – Medina, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12 – 1 pm, with a Celebration of Mary's life at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
