Matthew Dean "Snapper" Zgrabik, age 51, passed away on November 17, 2024, in Sullivan, Ohio. He was born on March 13, 1973, in Medina, Ohio to parents Alan P. and Susan J. (deLuna) Zgrabik. Matthew was a curious child and grew up with a talent for taking apart and fixing things. This of course came in handy in his job in Appliance repair. He also was a talented wood worker. He created beautiful things. Matthew was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Susan (deLuna) Zgrabik; siblings, Michael (Kelly) Zgrabik, Kelly Zgrabik (Steve), Alan Zgrabik, Jr., and Andrea (Bill) Sellars; his nieces and nephews, Trenton Zgrabik, Alexis Zgrabik, Hallie Cherry, Kaylann Cherry, and Royce Zirkle; his special friend, Annie, and his faithful companion, Mongo.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alan P. Zgrabik, Sr.

A Celebration of Matthew's Life will be held in March of 2025 and details will be updated on the Waite Funeral Home website. Matthew will be laid to rest with his father at Mound Hill Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
