Michael P. Gilligan of Brunswick passed away May 24, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of his family and friends

The beloved husband of Mitzi (Maruna) for 53 years; Loving father to Jason and Nicole (George); Proud grandpa of Lilly, Jack, Dempsey and Everly; Son of the late James and Rosemary; Amazing brother to Jim (Linda), Tom (Ana), Maureen (Steve), Tim (Mary Jo), Rosemary (Terry), Patti; Generous brother-in-law to Wayne (Lois) and Drew; Fun uncle to 22 nieces and nephews.

As a Vietnam Veteran, Mike served his country heroically.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 10,, 2026, at11:00 a.m. at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W 130th St., Brunswick, OH 44212, with visitation one hour prior to mass.

Interment will immediately follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
