Michael Thomas Goldberg, age 50, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on December 26, 2024. He was born to Michael O. Goldberg and Nayla R. (Benedict) Brawner on February 10, 1974, in Port Angeles, Washington.

Michael grew up in Washington state where he attended Bothell High School.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  An incredibly loving and proud father, he spent the early years of his son, Hudson's childhood at home, raising him to be the intelligent, compassionate young man he has become.  He worked at Ravago for the last 5 years in their Barberton and Medina plants where he created another family of friends and colleagues.   Michael was an exceptional cook and everyone that knew him looked forward to his handmade candies during the Christmas holidays. He enjoyed throwing darts and playing poker with friends..   He was always one to step up and help his neighbors and friends – no one was a stranger in his presence.

Michael is survived by his son, Hudson Goldberg; his mother, Nayla Brawner; his siblings, Scott Sewares and Sarah Sewares: nephew, Ellisiyah Meehan; his aunt, Shauna Hatch: the mother of his child, ToniKay Cheney; and an abundance of friends and people he made family. He was preceded by his father and his sister, Caray Ann Gill.

Always one to bring laughter and celebration, Michael did not want a sad and somber gathering.  A celebration of life is being planned and his ashes will be returned to the west coast to be spread in his original home of Washington.
