Michael D. Green, 71, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully, May 20, 2025.  He was born April 6, 1954, in Berea, Ohio to the late Robert and Betty June (nee Nails) Green-Mentzer.  Michael was the founder and long-time owner of MDG Flooring in Medina.  He enjoyed going golfing, playing cards, Yahtzee, scratch off lottery tickets and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Michael is survived by his children Christie (James) Jackson, Amanda (Nicholas) Stamm, Bobbi Kovalik, & Donald Green, grandchildren Jonathan, Abigail, Mason, & Madelynn Jackson, Carter & Colson Stamm, Jameson & Delaney Green, and Zoey Kovalik, siblings Donald Green, Kathleen Walbolt & Thomas Mentzer, and former wife Carol Jean (nee Foose) Green.

He is preceded by death by his parents and sister Lynne Dreher.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 4-7 pm at the Waite Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.  His family kindly asks that you wear your favorite green items for the visitation.  A Celebration of Michael's Life will be on Wednesday at Noon at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.

The family suggests donations in Michael's memory be made to any Medina County nonprofit organization of your choice.
